sweetener isn't my favourite ariana album but it is the warmest and most comforting. i like the pharrell productions, they give it a quirky, unusual vibe that she'd been missing since some of the sillier yours truly songs. but most of all i like that i can put it on and sink into it's depth of feeling straight away, it's a genuine friend in hard times
