“Firstly, I’m the first to review this masterpiece? Obsessed. Secondly, it is CRIMINAL that this hasn’t been pressed to vinyl. Now that’s out of the way, I love this album so much. It’s exactly what Kim needed to produce at this point in her career; cohesive, distinctive and, of course, bops on bops. It’s such a fun listen, and the song lengths are perfect. I can’t think of a better way to spend 36 minutes. DTLA is -for the first 3/4- a fun, hedonistic, hot banger. And for the last 1/4 is a postnut comedown flying through the sky thinking about life. I love it. Other favourites include 101, Detour, I Like Ur Look, Freak It, Check It, Need for Speed, Jeep (I realised as I was typing this that this is too many favourites to list, but that’s just how it is).”
